How a visit works
Inspect. Photograph. Put it in writing. Then work.
The order never changes, because it is the only way you can compare our quote to anyone else's and know what you are buying.
Step 1
Call or request a callback
Tell us what you are seeing. We set a time that works for you; Derek returns every call.
Step 2
Inspection with photos
Derek walks the roof and exterior and photographs what he finds. You see the same pictures he does.
Step 3
Written scope, your decision
Repair or replace, itemized in writing. Nothing starts until you have the scope and say go.
Why homeowners call us
A roofer with a Main Street address.
Circleville is our town, not a territory on a map. That changes how we quote, how we work, and how we answer the phone.
Owner on the roof
Derek Barton inspects, writes the scope, and is on site for the work. No sales rep in between.
Photos, not pressure
Every recommendation comes with pictures of the problem. A roof that is fine gets called fine.
Honest repair or replace
If a repair buys you years, we quote the repair. If it buys you a season, we say so.
No deductible games
We document and meet your adjuster. We never offer to cover or waive deductibles.
Full tear-off, always
No shingles over shingles. Decking gets seen and fixed before the new roof goes on.
Whole exterior, one scope
Roof, siding, gutters, and windows sequenced correctly so nothing new gets damaged.

Straight answers
Questions Circleville homeowners ask first
Where is Silcott Legacy Roofing located?
Our office is at 125 W Main St, Suite 1, in downtown Circleville, Ohio. We serve Pickaway County and the surrounding counties within about 30 miles: Ross, Fairfield, Fayette, Madison, Hocking, and southern Franklin County.
What does the free inspection include?
Derek walks the roof and the exterior, photographs the shingles, flashing, vents, valleys, gutters, and siding, checks the attic side where you give access, and gives you the photos with a plain written summary. No charge, no obligation.
Do you replace roofs or only repair them?
Both. We repair when a roof has life left and replace when it does not, and we tell you which one you have in writing with photos to back it up.
Do you work on metal roofs, siding, gutters, and windows too?
Yes. Standing seam and ribbed metal on homes, barns, and shops; siding with soffit and fascia; seamless gutters; replacement windows. One contractor for the whole exterior when that is what the house needs.
How do you handle storm damage and insurance?
We inspect, photograph the damage, tarp if the roof is open, and can meet your adjuster on site. The claim decision stays between you and your insurer, and we never offer to cover deductibles.
