What good siding work includes
Siding is the visible layer. The layer behind it is what keeps the house dry: house wrap, flashing at windows and doors, kick-out flashing where a roof meets a wall, and trim that sheds water instead of trapping it. We replace and detail that layer as part of every siding job so the new siding is protecting something, not hiding a problem.
Storm damage to siding
Hail leaves round chips and cracks. Wind peels panels off corners and gable ends. Sometimes one wall needs replacing and the rest of the house is fine. We photograph the damage, tell you honestly whether a match is possible on older siding, and put both a partial and a full option in writing when that is the fair way to present it.
Soffit and fascia
Rotted fascia behind old gutters and sagging soffit panels are common on homes from the 1970s through the 1990s in Lancaster, Chillicothe, and the southern Franklin County suburbs. We replace them, add vented soffit where the attic needs intake air, and hang new gutters on solid fascia so the whole edge of the house is right.

Siding questions
Can you replace just one side of the house?
Yes, and we tell you up front whether the new panels will match the old ones. Sun-faded siding often does not match, and you should know that before you decide.
Should I do the roof and siding at the same time?
If both are due, doing them together saves setup cost and lets us detail the roof-to-wall flashing correctly once. If only one is due, we say so.
Which siding brands do you install?
We install quality vinyl siding systems from established manufacturers and will show you the specific product lines and colors at the visit. We do not claim certifications or dealer status we cannot document.
