Free Roof Inspection with Photos
Silcott Legacy Roofing and Exteriors inspects roofs at no charge for homeowners and property owners within about 30 miles of our Circleville office. Derek walks the roof, photographs the condition of the shingles, flashing, vents, valleys, and gutters, and gives you the pictures and a plain written summary. No obligation, no pressure.

How a visit works
- 1
Book the visit
Call or request a callback. Tell us if there is a specific concern, a storm, or a sale in progress so we know what to focus on.

The walk-through
Derek inspects from the roof and the ground, and from the attic where you give us access. Everything notable is photographed.

Photos and a written summary
You get the photos and a summary that says what is fine, what to watch, and what needs work, with a scope for anything we recommend.

When to book an inspection
After a wind or hail storm, even if nothing looks wrong from the ground. Before you list a house or after you buy one. When the roof is passing fifteen or twenty years old. When a stain appears on a ceiling. Or when a door-to-door salesman told you the roof is shot and you want a second opinion from someone with an office you can drive to.
What you get
Photos of every problem area, a written summary in plain language, and, when there is work worth doing, a scope with the fix. When the roof is fine, the summary says the roof is fine. That is the point of an inspection you did not pay for.
Inspections for insurance claims
If you are filing a wind or hail claim, our photos and notes document the damage clearly. We can meet your adjuster on site to walk the roof together. The decision on the claim belongs to you and your insurance company.
Straight answers
Roof Inspection questions
Is there a catch to a free inspection?
No. If the roof needs work, we hope you hire us, and we give you a written scope so you can compare. If it does not, you have photos and a summary for your records.
Do you inspect roofs for real estate transactions?
Yes. We inspect roofs for buyers and sellers and put the findings in writing. We are a roofing contractor, not a licensed home inspector, and we say so on the summary.
Will you go in my attic?
When you give us access, yes. The attic side shows decking condition, past leaks, and ventilation problems the roof surface hides.
